(K) A quiet moment

The last real vacation this year (this includes at least two consecutive days off, weekends not included with), I all alone for I could use myself, I had in January. In early January, mind you. Of course I was a few days in Vienna and was there with some other great days spent, but there I was just every day on the road. Here in Berlin, I'm usually not alone. Five days work, then a two day weekend to relax them when there is not just a birthday, a visit with my mother or other activities that recently occurred but quite often. Otherwise two days and also just enough to get time to recover properly.

was now first real vacation in late September / early October planned. I had taken a longer period of extra free, so there I was able to take another trip with my best friend. But it broke down again, because he was not free, so moved the planned vacation on the end of October / early November. Recently he told me, however, that he now gets it free. Air fares were no problem this time, so we decided to book the trip. I booked the flight but not because we wanted to wait until the confirmation. Today, against 15 clock this came too, but in a negative way. There were no places left and the bus was not there when we presented it. So he struck me as a replacement Venice from the same period. But another problem arose in the meantime dar. my planned vacation in late October / early November, I had already canceled the morning, but not on the eve taken into account, that at the time when I wished to take leave (ie after next week) already two other colleagues had mentioned holiday. In itself a problem, but there are only four people who care for a particular database. Exactly two of these were just those registered with the holidays, I would have been the third. Sure, with one person for a week it would have gone anyway, but I could not even be sure that my leave would be approved. Accordingly, accompanied me all the time, an uneasy feeling in my stomach and I was in the end a little glad that it came to this cancellation of the tour operator.
